Monica has always loved numbers, problem-solving, and figuring out how things fit together. To her, there's usually a reason behind the numbers, and her favorite part of the job is uncovering the story they're telling and turning it into something a client can use. She's at her best with small and growing businesses, taking records that feel disorganized or overwhelming and making them clear.

Background

Monica found accounting through payroll, where working with the numbers sparked an interest that became a career. While earning her accounting degree at Fresno State, she took an accounting internship and built experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and agricultural accounting, working with businesses of many sizes. Today at The Garabedian Group, she helps clients with bookkeeping and gets their individual tax returns across the finish line.

She especially loves working with small and growing businesses, where good accounting makes a visible difference. Monica is at her best turning something disorganized or overwhelming into information a client can understand and use. To her, accounting isn't just something to deal with at tax time, and getting the numbers right is only part of the job. The rest is understanding what each client is trying to accomplish.
