Background
Jennifer's journey in the workforce began at the young age of eight when she served as a mini assistant at her parents' taco truck. This early exposure to the restaurant industry laid the foundation for her strong work ethic and dedication to customer service. Her experience also ignited her entrepreneurial spirit.
It was not until she met with her college advisor that she realized the best way to learn how to run a successful business was to understand the numbers behind it. She then declared her major in business administration with an emphasis on Accountancy. At Fresno State, she was a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader, guiding approximately 120 students in effectively studying and passing their accounting courses. Recognized for her leadership abilities, Jennifer was promoted to SI Mentor and trained new leaders to become successful tutors. As of May 2024, Jennifer graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accountancy.
Through these experiences, Jennifer has developed remarkable interpersonal skills, collaboration skills, and an unwavering commitment to professional development. She plans to pursue her CPA certification in the next two years.
Fun Fact
Jennifer’s favorite hobby is baking. She loves to be in the kitchen experimenting with different ingredients creating desserts for her shop, Popped By Jenny.
