Background
A trusted name among Fresno business owners, Dale has been the CPA they relied on through growth, transitions, and the handoff to the next generation. He began his career at a local Fresno firm in 1976, became a partner at Abaci & Garabedian in 1981, and has worked alongside some clients since the 1980s.
After five decades, he'll tell you the most fulfilling part of his career is The Garabedian Group itself, along with the team and clients he gets to build it with. Dale watched the traditional firm model treat accountants as number-crunchers and clients as once-a-year appointments. In 2009, he founded The Garabedian Group to do it differently. Everything about how the firm manages its team and its clients reflects that choice, from year-round relationships with clients to a 40-hour week for the people who serve them.
