Daily Dose of Accounting Adrenaline
According to Leo, the real adrenaline rush is when we are in the heat of tax season. Leo enjoys thrilling situations—he frequents activities like skydiving, bungee jumping, zip-lining, and shark diving. With an aptitude for seeking excitement, the buzz of the business hustle and grind is what gets his blood pumping. Over the past nine years, Leo has developed his talent in the tax industry. Today he supports our team with day-to-day tax and accounting projects and can tackle anything thrown his way.
Leo took the plunge into the tax accounting industry by working at H&R Block as a tax specialist. Then Leo climbed into a financial services firm and learned sales, mutual funds, and life insurance. With a knack for a bustling environment, he expanded his knowledge and joined a small tax firm specializing in real estate and taxes. His time spent at Intuit is where he learned the most and grew in his talent.
In the fall of 2020, Leo moved from Los Angeles to Fresno. He graduated from Los Angeles Trade-Tech College with an associate’s degree in Accounting. Then Leo transferred and graduated from the California State University of Dominguez Hills with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He is the first in his family to attend and graduate college and is a remarkable role model to his younger siblings and daughter.
Leo is currently learning payroll, business tax, and other accounting services with The Garabedian Group. On the side, he is studying to be an Enroll Agent. Every year he completes his continuing education requirements to keep his CTEC certification active and renews his PTIN with the IRS.
