What is your title at The Garabedian Group? Senior Associate 

What qualities does it take to work at an accounting firm? Working in an accounting firm takes a desire and passion for helping others. Being great with numbers helps as well! 

What’s the most rewarding part of what you do? The most rewarding part of my job is being able to make a genuine difference in our client's life. Whether that difference is saving money on tax or being a trusted advisor in both their personal business finances where the ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for our clients. 

What innovations in the accounting world are you most excited about? The innovations in the accounting industry I am most excited about are areas that are affected by artificial intelligence and cloud computing. these technologies coupled together are streamlining many of the manual labor business owners once has and allowing them to have real-time access to their business financials. 

What do you feel you have accomplished and what would you still like to accomplish in life? I have obtained my Certified Public Accountant license and I am working towards obtaining my Certified Financial Planner license. As I have a passion for investing and helping individuals grow wealth, I believe it is vitally important that their tax advisor possesses a robust financial skill set as well. 

What was your first job and what did you learn from it? My first job was working at a local health gym in Merced, CA. It taught me to "go that extra mile" in providing great customer service. 

What are your roots in the San Joaquin Valley? I was born and raised in Merced, CA. Both my parents were raised in Central California. 

What do you do in your spare time? I like to travel, stay active, enjoy time with friends and family and learn something new! Someday I wish to have visited all the continents, run a full marathon and teach myself a new language.
